Book Me for Your Podcast
Hiya! I’m Ellie Barclay — creator of Energetic Styling, lifelong entrepreneur, and someone who’s lived enough lives for three people.
I’ve been a chef in London, a marketer in China, a vintage seller, a policy-change campaigner, a consultant and CEO for start-ups across Africa and Asia, and the owner of a photography and events studio in the U.S.
I’ve put myself through university, built and rebuilt businesses on six continents, and worked everywhere from rural Zambia to downtown Shanghai. I’ve lived in Argentina, Kenya, Spain, Australia, China, the U.K., and the U.S., and worked extensively across India and Sub-Saharan Africa.
All of that to say: I’ve seen how people show up in wildly different contexts — and I’ve learned that confidence, creativity, and style aren’t luxuries; they’re tools for survival, connection, and momentum.
Now, through Energetic Styling, I help people build wardrobes and identities that keep up with who they’re becoming — and who they always were before the BS got in the way — not who they think they should be.
Smart, funny, and full of stories that make people think differently about what confidence, creativity, and success really look like.
I make your life easy. You can toss me a topic or a single question, and I’ll bring humor, honesty, and a stack of stories.
I make your audience feel seen. I speak to creative, curious, ambitious humans juggling real lives, real bodies, and real responsibilities.
I bring perspective. Two decades of global work have given me a sharp eye for how people create momentum — across cultures, industries, and stages of life.
I’m equal parts deep and delightful. Expect laughter, pragmatism, and the occasional mic-drop line your listeners will quote back to you.

Listen to me on The Refined Podcast.
I can fit easily into themes around creativity, business, and personal growth — but I always come with a point of view.
I like to make things feel doable again. I mix tangible tools with big-picture thinking, and I never forget that we’re all just humans trying to build something that works.
Here are some suggested topics.
Conversations I Love (and How I Show Up in Yours)
-
On staying visible, curious, and ambitious when the world wants you to shrink — and why your best chapters often start once you stop caring what anyone thinks.
(For conversations about reinvention, confidence, and freedom.)
-
On dressing for your real life, your real body, and your real energy — using style as a practical way to create calm, momentum, and cohesion.
(For podcasts exploring creativity, well-being, and showing up as yourself in business and life.)
-
On creativity for pragmatists — how to stay ambitious and human at the same time, and build things that last without burning yourself out.
(For audiences who want growth and momentum without the burnout culture.)
I also love to riff on redefining success, building businesses that actually work for humans, and how to make momentum feel good again — so if you’ve got a theme, I can meet you there.
